# VISUAL_REVIEW — batch p, t0_p9cf06f4fa2

Author's own review of the runner's drawings (not an expert grade).

## Draft d1 → submitted as rev1 — drawing `batchp/out/t0_p9cf06f4fa2_draft_d1.png` (read 05:44Z)

- **Local feature isolation.** Through hole (loop 1) has its own reverse O-grid: box x 0.802–1.033, y 0.1145–0.309, whose east corners are the two REQUIRED lens corners 3.0/3.1; the box is symmetric about the hole centre. The east ring sector is split in three (spokes at ±16.1°) because the lens (region 3, counterbore pad, 2 sharp 40° corners) needs two chord corners r1/r2; the lens itself is 4 blocks with two valence-3 nodes (C1, C2), the minimum for a two-cornered region. Both rounded pockets (region 0 in base, region 2 in region 4) are isolated by an inner O-grid (core + 4) and an outer reverse O-grid with 45° spokes from the arc mid-points. Level boundary x=1.033 is met corner to corner.
- **Ring scale.** Hole ring is tight (N/S ring thickness ~0.012, E ~0.03, W ~0.03) — near the hole scale as the guidance asks, but the N/S ring blocks are thin crescents. Pocket boxes share the lines y=0.59 / 1.16; margins ~0.06–0.13, i.e. about the pocket corner radius.
- **Symmetry / transitions.** Hole box symmetric about the hole centre horizontally and vertically; R0 box centred on R0. R2 box is the full width of the region-4 strip, so its spokes run 35–48° (SE spoke shallowest, Db corner 35°).
- **Fans / strips.** No long diagonal fans. Region 4 carries three thin horizontal strips (height ~0.065) from the lens corners p2/p1 and 4.4/4.2 to the east wall: necessary because the lens's arc corners must be shared by region-4 blocks; they stay local to the lower-right (no strip runs the full part). Base rows y=0.1145 and 0.309 continue west to x=0 (hole box lines carried straight through, rule 7) — rows 0.11 and 0.19 high, not slivers.
- **Unnecessary subdivisions.** 47 blocks; the axis grid (3 columns × 5 rows in base) is the minimum that avoids T-junctions with the two pocket boxes and the hole box. No numerical repairs yet.
- **Decision:** submit as rev1. Check passes (min sine 0.5745, worst forecast edge ratio 6.5, no rule marks). Main watch items for the full run: thin hole-ring N/S crescents and the small lens blocks.

## rev1 after full run — drawing `batchp/out/t0_p9cf06f4fa2_rev1.png` (read 05:44Z)

- Same block structure as d1 (no repairs were made between check and run). The title line shows 2-D PASS sine 0.5745, 3-D strict True, stable True, SJ 0.5464 (nominal) / 0.5745 (2x), block True, occupancy True, COUNTED True.
- Hole transitions: the spokes leave the hole radially at ±40.06°, ±139.94° and ±16.1° and meet the box corners at 40–50°, which is the usual O-grid corner. Nothing narrow or skewed where the ring meets the background grid (B1/B2/K1/K3 are plain rectangle corners on the background side). The thin N/S ring crescents (~0.012 at mid-span) are the main thing left to watch. The lowest 2-D sine (0.5745) is at the R2 ring's 35° corner at Db, not at the hole.
- Decision: **stop and submit rev1.** It is the first frozen counted pass, as the brief requires. A further revision could lower Y=0.59 slightly to ease the R2 SE spoke, but that would worsen R0's bottom margin. It would only cosmetically chase a number on a layout that already passes. I documented the tradeoff instead of revising.

### Result of the visual review
The layout is coherent and feature-aligned: every hole/pocket/level region is isolated, the cuts are axis-aligned except the 45°-type O-grid spokes, and the symmetry about the hole and each pocket is kept. Remaining tradeoffs: (1) the tight hole ring (thin N/S crescents) is set by the lens corners 3.0/3.1; (2) the region-4 strips from the lens arc corners p1/p2 are required by the two-cornered lens; (3) 47 blocks is a fair number, but each base row and column is forced by a pocket or hole box line, to avoid T-junctions; (4) the R2 box spans the full region-4 strip, so its SE spoke is shallow (35°).
